All machines About
About this site
A feed of industrial machines doing things that look impossible, kept by people who move this equipment for a living.
What this is
Amazing Machines is a curated feed of 119 films of real industrial machinery at work, sorted into 10 categories, with 14 written explainers on the machines that turn up most often. Every film was watched before it went in. Every one is credited to the channel that shot it and links back to the original.
There is a reason it exists. Most people never see the inside of a plant, and the machines that make everything they own are invisible to them. A quilting line running at full speed, a bucket wheel the height of a tower block, a wire thinner than a hair cutting hardened steel with sparks: these are worth looking at, and almost nobody puts them in one place.
Who is behind it
American Plant & Equipment, Inc. of Roebuck, South Carolina. APE buys and sells used and new industrial machinery worldwide, with 97,000 machines in inventory at americanplantandequipment.com. Textile and bedding equipment is the home ground, and the reach goes a long way past it: machine tools, packaging, plastics, printing, material handling and heavy plant.
That is the honest commercial angle. We are not a magazine. We publish this because the machines are worth showing, and because the people who like watching them are often the same people who eventually need to buy one or sell one. If that is you, the sourcing page is one form and it reaches a person.
How the feed is built
- Every video is checked with the platform's own metadata before it goes in: public, embedding enabled by the uploader, no age gate. Anything that fails is dropped.
- Nothing is downloaded, mirrored, re-encoded or re-uploaded. Films play from YouTube through the privacy enhanced player, and no cookie is set until you press play.
- Used machinery dealer channels are kept out. So are compilation and reupload farms, and music-only clips with no information in them. Manufacturers, integrators, documentary makers and operators filming their own equipment are what we want.
- The "why this is amazing" line on every card and all twelve explainers are written here. The footage belongs to the people who shot it.
Two things you will not find
No prices, anywhere. And no inventory listing: this site is not a catalogue. If you want to see what APE has in stock, that lives on americanplantandequipment.com.

Found something we should run?
Send it over. If it is a machine doing something remarkable and the uploader allows embedding, it goes in the feed with full credit.
Rights holders
If you uploaded a video here and you want the embed gone, it goes the same day. The embed and credit policy has the address to write to.
